From Clutter to Ca$h

So its officially Summer!!! I love summer ,i love everything about it. But one thing for sure is when i get to break out my summer clothes. See I have this method that i do twice a year. I have so much clothes ,that they cant all fit in the closet. Growing up in New York in the house i grew up in , the rule was we would swap out our winter clothes with summer clothes vice verse. So i kinda brought that tradition along with me to Arizona. Now along with this tradition i put a little money twist on it.$$ So every year when i swap out my clothes i go through all of them and whatever i haven't worn in over a year i sell. Now there are some rules to this

  • If it still has the tags on it keep it and make a point to fit it into your attire for that week.
  • If you have worn it once and there's just something about it that bugs you get rid of it.
  • If you bought it and thought mmm maybe i can take it and get it hemmed here and here ( stop lying to yourself if its still sitting there your never gonna do it)

When i swap out clothes for the summer i always leave out light sweaters ,just in case it rains or gets chilly at night. Whatever is left from the winter time I box up in Large Rubbermaid tubs to protect from bugs ,water damage and odors." Now look at your closet" there's more room for new clothes !! If you have your favorites i wouldn't tell you to part from them .But if there all your favorites then you have a problem and this post was meant for you haha. Have fun with it.! And make some money if you can I'm gonna be opening my EBay Closet again so people can check out my wardrobe!! I will keep you posted.

I think that you have too many clothes & the first step is admitting that you have a problem. hahaha I guess this would make sense for women?
