Happy Puerto Rican Day.Every year on Sunday in the 2ND weekend of June in over a million people swarm to New York City (Manhattan) for the Puerto Rican Day Parade.I'm half Puerto Rican so this is one of my favorite time of the year.I'm so sad that i didn't get to go this year,that's the one thing I look forward to in June is the parade. So many proud Puerto Ricans come out and show there PRIDE!! There's all kinds of celebrities there performing and attending the parade,I love it!!.Since its in the city and I stay on the island its a nice little journey for me and my family.And that's only half the fun . Then there's the shopping on the way back after the parade.My favorite pass time of course.With that being said ..if your ever in New York around the second week in June, its free and definitely something you should check out.

I've always been intrigued by the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York..........mostly because of the women & celeberties I've seen from TV. When I make my first trip to NY, it will be during this time!
u will have the best time promise!!! im so sad i missed it this year :(
